If you're looking for a similar mid red shade, there are some better alternatives to Red Color. The Republican color for instance is a darker and a bit more faded option, however this color has a red magenta bias. Consider a darker and more soft alternative called Red Pegasus (#dd0000) for more calm effect. Try Orko as it also a bit more faded and calm.
